Once we’ve worked out the right size of Marquee for you, the next step is to select all the marquee accessorise it to make it perfect for your event. Anglo Marquees can supply almost everything you could possibly need for your event. We are here to help you plan out exactly what you need and can tailor any marquee to be perfect for you and your event.

Linings
To create that elegant look we have ivory pleated linings to fit all our marquee structures and these can be accented with coloured swags and or roof overlays if required. Or simply incorporate strings of fairy lights for that stunning effect. We can also incorporate starlight sections over dance floor or bar areas or supply complete starlight linings for the entire structure. Other lining options are available on request.
flooring
We have two main flooring options. These are wooden flooring that is ideal for most surfaces and provides a solid flat foundation for your event and is usually covered with a new event carpet of your colour choice. Alternatively we supply synthetic matting or carpeting that is suitable for flat lawns and provides a firm surface to walk or stand on.
lighting
Usually the main source of lighting inside your marquee is provided by chandeliers or uplighters. These come in a range of colours and sizes and can be controlled by a dimmer unit, allowing you to create the right atmosphere for your event. It also allows areas that need constant light such as bars and catering areas , to stay lit whilst other areas that don’t require light for the duration of the function such as the Dancefloor can be dimmed or even turned off. We can also supply pea lights or fairy lights to help create that magical effect.
star cloths
We can also supply a star cloth roof lining to go above the dance floor in your marquee. This works as a blackout lining, perfect for those light summer evenings when you want to get on with the dancing. It also features hundreds of tiny “star” lights, which can be set to various speeds, patterns and brightness, to make your dance floor area look amazing. We can also supply star cloths to line the entire roof and or walls if required.
tables
Anglo Marquees also offers a wide selection of tables in a variety of sizes these including round banqueting tables from 3, round to 6’ round suitable for seating 4 to 12 people. Featuring one-piece lacquered plywood tops and folding steel tubular legs.
Trestle tables:
We can also supply Trestle tables in two widths the standard 2’6” or the wider 3’ both are suitable for top tables, catering tables or to be used in a herring-bone formation or long rows for seating guests. With the wider 6’ x 3’ table allowing more room
chairs
We offer four styles of banqueting chairs, Chivari lime wash, Cheltenham Gold, Cheltenham Silver and Cheltenham Natural all of which come with a seat pad in your choice of colour.
For the more informal event we also offer plastic bistro chairs and wooden folding chairs.
Chivari Chairs have become one of the world’s most popular chairs for special events and occasions ranging from weddings, to high profile events.
Essentially, the beautiful Chiavari Chair is a sophisticated chair that is not only elegant, but also affordable and a practical solution for managing seating for a small wedding of 30 to a large gala of 3,000.
Our Chivari Chairs are wood and lime washed. They are supplied with a range of different colour pads that will make your experience not only pleasing to the eye but also very comfortable.
The Cheltenham chair is a real ‘workhorse’, yet still a longstanding favourite amongst rental companies and venues. Often referred to as the gilt chair, it runs well under its traditional colour of Gold but is also available in Silver and Natural. Stylish, comfortable, light and strong, the Cheltenham chair is a truly great chair. These chairs are very popular for weddings , corporate events and summer balls
Perfect for use outside and inside the marquee, the plastic bistro chair is a popular and cost effective chair that can be transformed into an elegant and sophisticated piece with a chair cover and sash or just a cushion pad.
dance floors
Available to complement our range of marquees and luxury tents, or for standalone hire, Anglo Marquees Ltd. offers two styles of dance floor, in a variety of sizes. Choose from black & white or traditional parquet dance floor.
All dance floors, whatever colour option you choose, are available with standard silver edging which sets the finishing touches to your event. The unique interlocking or brickwork design of the panels ensures that the panels are fully secured and under normal conditions, will not part during use. The moderately sloped edging is wheelchair accessible.
staging
We also offer portable staging for hire. Staging allows you to raise and frame your entertainment whether it’s a DJ or band, so everybody will be able to see and enjoy the experience. Our stages are modular 8’x4’x1′ and can be arranged in several configurations to maximise the space and to suit your table plan. Usually, 5m x 4m and set at a 30cm height, the size can be increased or decreased as needed to fit any available space.
heating
Heating is a must, especially during the autumn and winter. Anglo Marquees use industrial indirect heaters, that stand alone outside the marquee and pipe hot air inside. They are controlled with thermostats inside the structure so it’s never too hot or too cold.
Once a marquee is built it is very likely to be affected by condensation in the mornings, heaters prevent this and should be used if you plan for the tables to be laid up before the day of the function to prevent damp table cloths and carpets.
generators
Power requirements are often overlooked or just skimmed over by customers and can result in disaster. We can advise you on your power requirements and provide the appropriate size generator to ensure your big day goes well without any last minute panics. We can supply a 20 KVA Diesel Generator, silent and towable which can accommodate both 110 and 240v, with 16 amp connectors. 20 KVA is more than enough power for the majority of functions, to include supplying heaters, lighting, bands and caterers.
toilets
Anglo Marquees can hire in toilets on request. We have contacts who can provide porta-loos, luxury toilet trailers and shower trailers. Please feel free to use our years of experience, in all types of event, to help and advise you on the items you may need to complete your marquee.
